Everytime I walk pass Starbucks, I can't help but always people reading, relaxing, chit chatting. The vibe is always good, no wonder people enjoy hanging around there. I feel happy when I am there too.
If you are in business, many will agree one of the most important things is people don't just buy with their head, they buy most of the time with their heart. The competition in today's marketplace is not for customer's money but for their emotion.Touch the people you serve and they will be back for more. Engage their emotions and they will become your most die hard fans.
Quoting from neurologist Donald Calne "The essential difference between emotion and reason is that emotion leads to action while reason leads to conclusions." 1 key take away I would believe is Human beings moved when their emotions are moved.
How does having the latest Iphone make you feel? How does having a branded Chanel Bag make you feel? You get the point?People go where they are cared for, special and good, People buy from a place of emotional engagement. Seems obvious? Not many put it in good use.

Have You Start Reading Obituaries?
I have start to become more philosophical these days, as I realised time is ticking by so fast...I am less willing to waste my time, less willing to listen to negative people. I am even less willing to miss an opportunity to be loving, champion another human being, get closer to my dreams, or have some genuine fun. And...I started reading obituaries too.
When I read of the lives others have lived , I am offered clues on whats most important in life. I realised that obituaries of lives well lived often share certain consistent pattern.
- Family
- Friendship
- Contribution to community
- Taking calculated risk
- Kindness through small, simple acts
- Love
The greatest of all i read speaks of being close to loved ones and of the impact the deceased had on the world around them.
Leading a beautiful life, I always ask the kinds of questions that will provoke me to think deeply ad connect with what matters most. One of the dominant traits of so many of the extraordinary people I know is the discipline of bring more reflective than most of us. So ask profound questions. Good questions lead to excellent answers and greater clarity. And greater clarity is the DNA of authentic success and personal greatness.
There are 5 questions that I hope will cause you to go deep and become more philosophical about what truly counts in your life. Most people don't discover how to love until it's time to die. By then it's too late...Start writing your answers down in journal, ask yourself on a daily basis and get yourself align!
- Did I Dream Big Enough?
- Did I Live Fully to the Extend of What I am Capable of?
- Did I Learn to Let Go of Those Thinking that Does not Support Me?
- Did I Love Well?
- Did I Leave the Earth a Better Place?
I hope the answers you arrive at will help you live with more passion and joy. Clarity does precede success. You can't hit a target you can't even see. And we are really not here that long, if you think about it. We'll all be dust before you know it! So live and maximise your potential now!

Leadership
Leadership and success begins on the extra mile. Leadership is shown when a salesperson makes an extra calls at the end of the day, because it is the right thing to do. Leadership is shown by the manager who finishes a report that has taken the very best from him, then goes back to it a little later to polish and improve it even more.
Leadership is shown by a team that delivers on their value promise to a customer and then digs even deeper to wow them. Leadership is shown by human being who fights the urge to stay under the covers on a cold day and throws on her running shoes to pound the pavement.
Those among us who craft extraordinary careers and spectacular lives are those who spend most of their time giving their best out on the extra mile. Ordinary people don't spend much time on the extra mile. But who ever said you were ordinary?

The Wow Factor.
I like staying into hotels when I travel. They may be a bit over my budget, but there is still some lessons I can learn within it. That is customer service or known as The Wow Factor! I check out the cool design and observe whether the hotel pamper their customer to take them on a journey from start to finish that makes them go WOW!
Most of the hotels i stayed are amazing regardless of the amount paid. Simple gestures like having a big smile with a warm greeting when I entered. Some budget one have ultra cool design that goes in sync with the country theme. While some likes to have lots of green and fresh colours.
Once in a while, I would meet super nice front desk staff - the warm greeting with a wonderful offer of hot beverage while I checked in. Some would ask on my itinerary and refine with me on the expectation and experience. Its like a community of its own!
Sometimes, I do hope some of the places would be less of a robot and more of a human. What do I mean? Have you ever encounter someone who talk in a fast pace monotone voice. The best part, they complete everything before you understand. Its amazing how you manage to get through everything eventually.
Overall, most of the places I stayed in under promised and then over delivered. If given me a chance, I would stay back again! They have well trained staff who understands travellers issues and proactive enough to make us feel at home. That's most important and it's what we need - The Wow Factor

The Power of Focus
There's a great power in focusing on what you want. This may seems like such an obvious statement, yet most of us miss it. Dreams can come true. You can get to a place called Extraordinary in your career. You can find love deeper than you have ever imagined. You can realise world class vitality and find lasting fulfilment. But you need to focus. The person who tries to do everything accomplishes nothing. Most people try to be all things to everyone. And so they end up nothing to anyone. Confucius nailed the point: " Person who chases two rabbits catches neither."
What you focus on grows. What you concentrate on is what you see more in your life. Think about that line. Focus on financial mastery and you'll see your economic life improve.
Focus on being more loving and your relationship will improve. Focus on your physical dimension by exercising and following a superb diet and your health will improve. Focus. Focus. Focus. That's what the best of the best do. Tunnel vision around their biggest TO DO. They stick to their knitting rather than scattering their brilliance. A few months ago I read about a billionaire interview. They asked him what was the single best thing he did to get to his financial mastery. "I made this goal my sole reference point," came his reply.

People and Relationship
The best performers in business don't hide behind their desks. They know that business is about connecting to people. When people like you and know you and trust you, they will help you. Just the way it is. Human nature at play.
The best managers get out from behind their desks and have rich and meaningful conversations with their team. They get that passion is contagious and, before someone will lend you their hand, you need to touch their heart. The best salespeople get out from behind their desks and break bread with their customers. They understand the power of relationship selling.
People don't buy products and services - they buy people and relationship.
The best employees get out from behind their desks to collaborate with their teammates, support their colleague and to spread enthusiasm.
More than ever in my own life, I try to get out of the office. I love my team but they know what they are doing. They lead without title and are empowered. I'll just get in their way if I am around too much. I need to be out meeting, serving my beloved clients and helping build world class organisations. I need to be out learning new ideas and interesting insights that will find their way onto my blog or into my next speech or book.
Hiding behind my desk is the worst place I could be. It will never happen in my lifetime!

Cuddle Party!
People across the world are showing up at designated places to have a 'cuddle parties'. Strangers get together, introduce themselves and then spend time cuddling. Nothing more, just feeling the touch of another human being and feeling connected.
This is interesting, because the paradox of our wired world has made us connected electronically. Eventually, we become less connected emotionally, People spend hours each night downloading podcast, emailling, surfing net and playing with phones.
They have forgotten the importance of old fashion conversation. They have neglected the power of breaking bread with family and friends; the importance of human touch.
I have no plans to show up for a cuddle party soon. I rather work to build the bonds of humanity with those already around me by loving my family, friends and relative. Supporting my team mates, client and colleague. Thats the cuddle i need!

Getting in the Mood for Sex!
Sometimes, getting in the mood for sex can be as easy as eating.
Food can help trigger those sexual desires that are burning inside, and also some that were buried deep in like the Atlantis.
Proudly digged out from the internet, this list of foods below are likely to increase the libido, so make sure that you are in fact seeing the other half tonight and maybe see if the kids can be shipped off to a relatives or friends house.
Chocolate
Finally, a good reason to eat chocolate. Many associate chocolate with fattening stuff. But do you know that It contains tryptophan, which is a chemical in the brain involved in sexual arousal? It makes people feel relax and set the in the mood for some love. *wink wink*
Almonds
Not only just almonds, but the smell of nuts is said to arouse passion in women - so people have only got themselves to blame if you pounce whilst on the train, bus or some other public place.
Almonds also contain the amino acid arginine which boost circulation allowing blood to flow to the sexual organs more easily.
Avocado
This not only boosts energy levels and contains passion inducers potassium and vitamin B6 - but, it also counts as one of your five-a-day. A win-win situation if you ask me.
Garlic
This may not be that great for your breath, but brushing your teeth should sort it out. Anyway, for a good cause, the allicin improves blood flow to the pelvic organs. A wonderful food if you ask me.
Goji berries
Otherwise known at the 'fruit viagra' so this has to work. The berries improve overall stamina, mood and well being. Plus, the anti-oxidants are known to help raise testosterone levels in both men and women. Heathly food with great benefits!
Pumpkin seeds
The zinc found in pumpkin seeds is shown to boost the libido by pumping up testosterone levels.
Now, time to start planning into a mood for great make out!
